God's Word says that the earth shall be filled with His glory! All the world shall know the greatness of our God. WSWC is determined to make God famous. How do we do that? By allowing Him to perform miracles on our behalf. The Bible says that Jesus' fame spread when He began to do miracles. People began to flock when they saw Him being about His Father's Business. He came to the earth to do what His Father told Him to do...display the Kingdom. When the Children of Israel were in Egypt, God said, "Then the Eqyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I have gained honor for Myself over Pharoah, his chariots and his horsemen" (Ex 14:18) and then in Romans 9:17, "For the scripture says to Pharoah, 'For this very purpose have I raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth'". When we allow God to do a miraculous work on our behalf, He gets the glory and His fame is spread.
What does that mean? It means that we have to be vessels that are wiling to allow Him to show Himself great in our lives. Just as with David and Goliath, David had to be willing to fight Goliath in order for God to be glorifed through Him. It was a fight against a major giant, and David in natural stature was no match for Goliath, but because David understood He was not coming in His own might, stature, skill or weaponry (his own resources), but he understood that He was coming in the Name of the Lord. ("You come to me with a sword and a spear and with a javelin. But I come to you in the Name of the Lord of Hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied...and this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, THAT ALL THE EARTH MAY KNOW THAT THERE IS A GOD IN ISRAEL-I Sam 17:45-46).
What does it mean? It means that you may have to face some giants in your own life in the Name of the Lord in order for Him to deliver you out of them so that His Name may be glorified in the earth through you. It means that you are going to have to take some steps in faith for Him. It means you will have to take a stand for Him. It means that you will have to Trust Him where you can't see Him like Elisha's servant Gehazi, believeing by faith that there are more with you than there are with those that oppose you.
Are you willing to allow God to move through your life and on your behalf in order to Make Him Famous? Yes, you will face opposition. Yes, you will face criticism. Yes, you will face challenges and have to finally face your fears. It takes boldness, courage, faith and perseverance...but in the end...we were created to Give Him glory! (Is 43:7, "Even every one that is called by My Name: for I have created him for My Glory, I have formed him; yea I have made him") Our whole purpose and existence is to make Him famous in the earth! We are His people and His representatives...let's be about our Father's Business and make Him famous in the earth!

You know, this is probably the last statement you want to hear when you are going through a painful situation that you don't understand, and often well-intentioned people that genuinely care about us revert to this statement when they can't grasp why a painful situation has occurred as well.
God is an enigma, He cannot be placed in a box as we think He can in attempt to be able to say, "I know God" or "This is how God responds in every situation". We cannot explain why things happen in our lives, but there is indeed something that we can rely upon..."All Things Do Indeed Work Together For Our Good!"
As I am at the cusp of walking into my Promised Land, I can now look back at my Egypt and Wilderness and see that it's all starting to make sense. I'm seeing how everything that I've gone through, painful, embarassing, stressful, uncomfortable, inconvenient...has all worked togegther to prepare me for Canaan. God, in His infinite wisdom has allowed me to experience these situations as He says in Deuteronomy 8:16, to do me good in my latter end.
None of us like to experience anything but good. We want our lives to be peaches and cream with a cherry on top, but, unfortunately, that is not the live we have in this dispensation of time. Peaches and Cream don't help us grow, it doesn't strengthen us for the battle, it doesn't build our character and teaches even more about the grace, mercy, favor, strength and might of out God.
God knows what we need and what situations will shape and mold us into what He needs us to be in our Destiny. ALL that we endure, ALL that we go through, ALL that we walk through is working together for our good. Don't grow weary in well doing for in Due Season, you shall reap if you faint not!
