Purpose

Our Purpose is to serve as an Educational Institution of the Kingdom of God.

The A.I.M. Objective

We will accomplish our mission and see our vision come to pass through:

The A.I.M. Objective:

Advance the Kingdom of God by

Influencing lives positively through teaching the application

of Kingdom principles in our daily lives and

Making an impact in our Communities

The Bible tells us to “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God” , Matt 6:33.  In that passage He is telling us that as we seek to Discover His Kingdom by Understanding and Preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, that we will find provision of all our needs:  spiritually, relationally, mentally, emotionally, financially, and physically. The answer to every situation we face in our lives is found in understanding the Kingdom of God.

WSWC seeks to Advance the Kingdom of God.  Matthew 4:17 says, " From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, 'Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand'" , and in Matthew 10:7, He commanded us to do the same, "And as ye go, preach saying, 'The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand'".  In all that we do, our desire is to fulfill the commandment of the Lord.

Our reach is not only within the four walls of the church, but our goal is to teach those that are a part of this ministry and those that are outside of this ministry and our AIM has a threefold target.

  1. Ministry to those in the Body of Christ
  2. Ministry to those outside the Body of Christ
  3. Ministry to the Community-at-large

Ministry to those Within the Body of Christ

Our desire is to assist men and women grow in their walk with the Lord and to teach them how to live a successful life in Christ.  This ministry extends to those that are laborers of WSWC and to those that are not via tapes, broadcasts, television programs, newsletters, magazine, etc. In this manner, our overarching ministry themes to Believers are:

  • Kingdom Principles
  • Submission to His Will
  • Crucifying Flesh
  • Identifying Your Purpose and
  • Taking the Necessary Steps to Fulfill that Purpose
  • Faith in God and His Word
  • Understanding that living by and speaking the Word of God is the only way to have a successful life
  • See a people walking in the blessings and prosperity promised by God
  • Challenge Believers to come out of business as usual to begin to do some mighty exploits for God
  • Teach Believers to be about their Father’s Business

Ministry to those Outside the Body of Christ

We want to instruct people in these areas so that they may then be equipped as a proper ambassador to represent the Kingdom of God to those that do not know Christ.  As their light shines, it will draw men unto Him and the Kingdom will continue to grow and advance.  Our efforts to minister to this segment of the population consist of:

  • Evangelism Efforts including an invitation to receive Salvation within each
service as well as efforts outside the ministry in the areas of the deep where those
that have not become Kingdom Citizens by walking through the door of accepting
Jesus Christ or have fallen away dwell.
  • Instruct these converts in discovering the Kingdom of God and living as a Kingdom Citizen
  • Follow-up ministry to those that have received Salvation as a result of the Evangelism Efforts
  • Evangelism Training to equip the Body of Believers in reaching the lost for Christ
  • Intercessory Prayer for the lost and for laborers for the Harvest is plenteous, but the laborers are few.

Ministry to the Community-at-Large

Jesus Christ had a focus on serving and helping those that were less fortunate.  He tells us to help the poor, to care for the widow, to meet the needs of others and that what we do unto the least of one of His, we have done unto Him.  In that vain, we desire to make a positive contribution in our communities by showing the love of Christ to them in meeting needs that may exist.  We believe that before a person will open up to you, there may be a physical need that you will have to meet.  As that need is met, they see the love of God for them through your efforts and will be open to hear the message of the Gospel of the Kingdom.  These programs will meet the needs of those that are WSWC laborers as well as those that are not, but do have a need.  It is our desire to meet this need it the following manner:

  • Community Feeding/Clothing Programs
  • Resource Network to identify Federal, State, Local and Community programs providing various areas of assistance
  • Employment Assistance Services through providing employment opportunities through businesses owned by the ministry as well as create a Career Resource Network
  • Economic Empowerment Counseling
  • Housing Assistance Education Programs
  • Back-2-School assistance
  • Community Credit Union that will provide information, education, and assistance in all matters of Finance
  • Affordable Group Health Insurance
  • Welfare-to-work assistance
  • Mentorship Program to go into the schools to provide guidance, direction and examples of positive men and women.
  • Serve as a Business Incubator for those within the ministry that desire to start a business.
